Ryan Kaplan is the Founder & CEO of Palingenix Equity. 

 

Ryan has over 20 years of private equity experience and has led or played a leadership role in over 50 platform and add-on acquisitions representing over $1.5B of enterprise value during his career. 
 

Prior to founding Palingenix, Ryan was a Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital, where he spent over 12 years with the firm’s flagship lower middle market buyout strategy. During that time, he focused on evaluating and managing Business Services and Industrials investments — several of which had ties to the experiential economy, marketing services, transportation & logistics, and essential spend categories.  Those experiences inspired the formation of Palingenix, which leverages distinct investment themes to target niche, fragmented Business Services and Industrials sub-sectors.

Prior to H.I.G., Ryan spent over nine years with private equity firm Quad-C Management.  He began his career in the Financial Sponsors Group at Credit Suisse. Ryan earned his MBA from University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a BBA from University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.

Ryan is an identical twin and Michigan native who resides in Miami, Florida, where he tries valiantly to pass his die-hard Detroit and University of Michigan sports fandom onto his three kids and Buffalo-native wife.
